High Water Dead River Trips
The Dead River located in Maine is 16 miles of continuous whitewater. The Dead River has only 7 big whitewater releases each year, so make sure to book your trip with Riverdrivers early. Whitewater rapids like "Minefield", "Hayden's Landing", & "Poplar Falls" make the Dead River very much alive! No long bus rides after your day of paddling the Dead River. Our take out is located in our back yard! The minimum age is 13 years old (with a few exceptions). All trips include a snack out on the water and a full BBQ lunch after the trip! *Please call for pricing for Labor Day!

Family Fun Trips
Want a more relaxed day? Join us on our low water Dead River trips. The rapids are class 2 & 3 and the fun is class 5! The Dead River is filled with play spots and the scenery is magnificent. Wildlife sightings are not uncommon. There are NO long bus rides after your day of paddling the Dead River. Our take out is located in our back yard! The minimum age is 8 years old. Customized meals & trip packages are available to meet your needs.
